Does the app work with all phones?
The app works with Android and iOS/iPhone devices. A few phones periodically stop apps. This may cause a one second beep as your Remimb device reconnects.
What Sensitivity Level Should I Choose?
The higher the level, the greater the distance between your phone and the device before the alarm sounds. Since keeping your device, which will be attached to your keys, in your pocket or purse can slightly interfere with the Bluetooth signal between your phone and the Remimb device. You may want to increase the level in these situations. Walls can also interfere with the Bluetooth signal.
Where Can I Find The Instruction Manual?

Should I Leave The App Open?
Yes. You should leave the app open. It doesn't have to be on screen, but it is recommended that you don't close it. Android and iOS handle open and closed (killed) apps very differently, primarily to optimize system performance, battery life, and memory. Open apps have higher priority, full user interaction, and unrestricted resource access, while closed apps face strict limitations on execution, network access, and background service usage to conserve resources. If you close the app, your phone's operating system may stop the app at any time, causing the Remimb device to alarm because it was disconnected from the phone.
Where are the charging and pairing lights?
The charging light is on the same side as the Remimb logo. The pairing light is a smaller blue light on the other side of the device.
How Often Should I Charge My Remimb Device?
You should charge your Remimb Device every night. If you are out late, charging it about twelve hours into the day can be helpful, but it is often unnecessary.
Are There Other Factors That Can Affect My Remimb Device?
Yes. Your Bluetooth connection and app are controlled by your phone's operating system. Your phone's operating system can sometimes disconnect the device from your phone. For example, to save battery power. If that happens, turn off any alarms, press the device button, and reconnect the app to the device using the app's Scan for Devices button. You should also consider turning off any Adaptive Battery, or Battery Optimization, settings as these will periodically turn off the app and cause the device to give an alert because it was disconnected from the phone.
